A federation connected to a huge share of all the businesses in an entire country. One person gets to be the one who brings it on, and earns on every business in its world. Free for you. Free for them.
Most companies join Bitword one business account at a time, one location on the map. A national federation is different: its members are not fans or customers, they are businesses themselves, often most of the businesses in an entire country. The federation comes on as a corporate account that sits above that whole base. Bringing it in is the single largest connector opportunity on this site, you make one introduction and become the Connector above a huge share of a nation's businesses, earning 5% of every one of their subscriptions, every month, for as long as you hold the position1, plus a 1% bonus on every word they bid for2. There is room for more than one connector, and the best positions go first.
A federation this size is reached the same way as any big account, through one real relationship with the people who decide. That can be almost anyone:
You are handing the federation a free, verified home on the map for its whole membership plus a reputation engine they will value, and the platform pays you for the introduction.
These defaults are sized to a national merchants federation in a country like Colombia. Drag any slider to match the one you have in mind. Every figure shows its own math.
1. Your 5% connector share. Each business pays a monthly subscription (about $60/mo in Colombia, more in higher income countries). The Connector above the federation earns 5% of that on every member business, for as long as they hold the position. The businesses and the federation keep their own shares; your 5% is paid by the platform as a launch reward.
2. The 1% bid positions. Each word a business claims carries four 1% bonus positions; the connector holds one on every business in the network. The 1% begins on later, higher bids.
3. The captured accounts. The employees and customers invited onto free accounts belong to the federation, not to you. Your earnings come from the 5% on the member businesses and the 1% bid positions.
4. Where the business count comes from. The total business pool is an illustrative national figure. For Colombia, roughly 1.6 million formal businesses per DANE reporting. For the United States, roughly 33 million per U.S. Census Bureau data and Bitword's working capacity model. Real counts vary by source and by what counts as a "business" (formal versus informal, sole proprietorships, and so on). This figure is deliberately conservative; the true reachable universe, especially counting informal businesses, is larger.
All figures are conservative, illustrative estimates for a federation of this size, not a guarantee, and not tied to any specific named organization.
Holding the Connector position during the launch window costs you nothing. Getting the federation and its members on costs them nothing either. You give them something good and get paid to do it.
